Edith boasts several significant strengths that make her a formidable Tank. Her most prominent advantage is her exceptional magical offense, which is unusually high for her role. This allows her to deal substantial damage, especially after activating her ultimate, turning her into a potent threat capable of bursting down squishy targets or contributing significantly to teamfight damage. Coupled with her inherent high durability, Edith can absorb considerable damage while remaining a dangerous force. Her kit also provides strong crowd control through her first and second skills, enabling her to initiate engagements, peel for allies, or disrupt enemy formations effectively. Furthermore, her relatively low difficulty makes her accessible to a wide range of players, allowing them to quickly grasp her core mechanics and contribute to the team.
However, Edith also has a few notable weaknesses. Despite her high durability, her early game can be somewhat vulnerable before she acquires key defensive items and her ultimate. Her primary crowd control skill, Earth Shatter, has a noticeable delay, making it predictable and easier for agile enemies to dodge if not timed correctly or combined with other crowd control. Moreover, while her ultimate grants her immense power, she relies heavily on accumulating Wrath from taking damage to maximize its effectiveness. If enemies avoid focusing her or she fails to take sufficient damage, her ultimate's potential might not be fully realized, reducing her impact during crucial teamfights. This dependency on taking damage means she can sometimes be kited or ignored, limiting her ability to convert defensive stats into offensive power.
